She obtained her Tourism degree in Barcelona and in Tunon International Hostess School. After finishing her studies, she worked as tour guide for a period, and later on, at a travel agency organizing the tours and vacations of the VI Fleet US Navy while their stay in Barcelona. Then she decided to run her own businesses: Au Pair Agency and Travel Agency specialized in tailor-made holidays and incentives.
Thanks to her great professionalism and devotion to her work and clients, she gained an outstanding reputation within the Tourism trade having worked during 7 years as Area Manager for Catalonia for one of the leading Tour Operators in that region. In May 2007, she joined Adsum as business partner |

She was born in Barcelona. She started her career in a retail agency, addressing the holiday´s department companies and accompanying incentives groups.
Then she jumped to wholesale, working in the booking of India and South East of Asia.
She interrupted her work to fulfill one of her dreams: traveling a few months through Australia and New Zealand. Upon her return she joined in a major tour operator to deal with the commercial department in Catalonia, Balearic and Aragon, accompayning groups in South East of Asia. Colaborating also in seminars of many destinations.
She retired for one year to enjoy her son.
After she joined at the best tour operator for Spain market cover Dpto. Trading in Catalonia, she adquired a great experience.

| Elke Pfeil is from Dresden, Germany and has a strong background in luxury Hotel operations and sales & marketing. After working for Leading Hotels of the World in Switzerland and Scotland, she spent 5 years in Dubai as Sales Manager and in Abu Dhabi as Business Development Manager for Shangri-La Hotels. Before joining Epikurean, she spent 2 years in the Maldives as the Area Director of Sales & Marketing for Six Senses Resorts & Spas. She joined the company in August 2010 as Director of Sales - Europe for Epikurean Villas, Hotels & Hideouts. |
